PEAK TO PEAK HIGH SCHOOL RECEIVES SECOND NATIONAL ACCOLADE - 40TH BEST HIGH SCHOOL IN NATION
Peak to Peak High School is a Newsweek Top 100 High School, ranking as the 40th best high school
in the nation out of 27,000 public high schools. Peak to Peak is the only Colorado school to rank
in the top 100. This follows Peak to Peak High School’s ranking by U.S. News and World Report
as a 2008 Gold Medal School, ranked 47th in the nation, and 5280 magazine as the best high school
in the seven-county Denver metro area.
PEAK TO PEAK HIGH SCHOOL 47TH BEST HIGH SCHOOL IN NATION
Peak to Peak High School is a U.S. News and World Report 2008 Gold Medal School,
ranking as the 47th best high school in the nation out of 18,790 public high
schools in 40 states. Peak to Peak is one of only two Colorado schools to rank
in the top 100, with D'Evelyn Senior High School in Golden ranking 62nd. This
follows Peak to Peak High School's ranking by 5280 magazine as the best high
school in the seven-county Denver metro area.
PEAK TO PEAK HIGH SCHOOL #1 IN DENVER METRO-AREA
Peak to Peak High School is rated the number one high school in metro Denver
by the August 2007 issue of 5280 Magazine. The magazine looked at over 30
schools from the seven Denver metro-area counties. Four BVSD public schools
and one Boulder county private school placed in the top fifteen, and Peak
to Peak High School was chosen as Denver's best high school based on
approximately three dozen criteria. Statistics were gathered from the School
Accountability Reports, websites, and directly from the schools.
